Frostproof Care Center
Mission Statement:
The Frostproof Care Center is a faith-based community service organization which demonstrates Christ’s love by building bridges between people in need and people with a desire to serve.
Our Impact:
Responding to the physical needs of individuals and families in crisis situations and seeking long-term solutions through financial education and counseling to attain self-sufficiency.
Our Program Services:
Since 1990 the Frostproof Care Center has served the residents of Frostproof and Babson Park in the rural southeastern corner of Polk County, Florida. The Crisis Intervention Program is the heart of our mission by helping clients find solutions to immediate crisis needs, helping reduce stress, and supporting crisis-to-long term stability transitions.
Diversity and Inclusion Statement:
The Frostproof Care Center does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, pregnancy, marital status, sexual orientation, or economic condition of the household.
Clients must meet eligibility requirements for assistance.
